Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics,
American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association
and Dallas County Medical Society. He is President of
the Pediatric Society of Greater Dallas. In 1997, Dr.
Johnson was Assistant Chief of Pediatrics at Baylor
University Medical Center. He is the author of The Real
Milestones of Early Childhood and has been a frequent
guest on several radio talk shows. Dr. Johnson graduated
cum laude from Augustana College, Rock Island, IL before
completing Medical School at the University of Wisconsin
– Madison and an Internship and Residency in Pediatrics
at the University of Nebraska. He is married and the
father of two daughters.

Debra Hunter is certified to practice as a Pediatric
Nurse Practitioner by the National Pediatric Nursing
Certification Board, and she is a member of the National
Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the
Greater Texas Chapter of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Debra is authorized by the State of Texas to practice
as a Nurse Practitioner with Licensed Prescriptive Authority
in the specialty of Pediatrics. In 1979, Debra graduated
cum laude from Texas Woman’s University with a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She completed
her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing in 1998 at
The University of Texas at Arlington. Debra has been
married for 28 years and has two grown children.
Dr. Johnson and Debra Hunter practice in the Presbyterian
